A Lionel Messi twin in Iran?

Here is an intriguing story of a dude, who at present, is setting the city of Hamadan in Iran, on fire with his looks that is a spitting image of five-time FIFA World Player of the Year winner, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.

Reza Parastesh is a 25-year-old Iranian young man who looks exactly like the soccer idol  and guess what, the current physical attributes of Messi which are man-made, for example, his beards, Reza has copied and also rocks Barcelona’s No. 10 shirt always dorned by Messi.

The kind of commotion – which includes lots citizens striving to take selfies with him – he caused in town led the police to impound his car and detain him in a station all in a bid to clear it up.

Reza told AFP: “Now people really see me as the Iranian Messi and want me to mimic everything he does.

When I show up somewhere, people are really shocked. I’m really happy that seeing me makes them happy and this happiness gives me a lot of energy.

It all started when Parastesh’s father, noticing the resemblance, convinced his son to try on a Barcelona shirt to see how it looked. Parastesh seemed to think he was onto something and started growing out his beard, too.

Already, it is looking like it could turn out lucrative for Messi’s lookalike as he has gotten media interviews and contract offers to model. However, the challenge Parastesh is facing right now is that he can’t do any tricks with a soccer ball, but he’s working on that.

If Messi is up for it, however, Parastesh is willing to help him out, off the pitch.

Being the best player in footballing history, he definitely has more work than he can handle. I could be his representative when he is too busy,” he said.
