Musa’s search for regular playing time made him join Bosnian side FK Zeljeznicar Saravejo on loan from the Turkish side few days ago, a move which could also help his national team career.

However, Rohr was not so sure of his chances in the team, as he reportedly told a source in Sagamu that he has secured the services of two new full backs for the team.

Musa have to fight for his spot in the team, hopefully we expect two defenders who play same role as him to be in the team for our next friendly games. He is however still part of our plans”, Rohr said.


The top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Stephen Odey of MFM FC has been proposed to La-Liga giants Valencia.

Odey, 18, has taken the league by storm this season with five goals in five games after six rounds of games in the league. A form which has lead to talks of an exit from his current team MFM FC when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

He (Odey) has been proposed to Valencia, and they will monitor his progress before deciding on a move for him in the summer”, a source said.

His move is similar to that of Ezekiel Bassey to Barcelona, a straight forward deal between the clubs which will be facilitated by the LMC-La Liga partnership.

European football’s governing body (UEFA) will ask for its teams to be given 16 places at the expanded 48-team 2026 World Cup.

UEFA will also request that the European teams who do qualify are kept apart in the first stage.

The new-look tournament will begin with an initial round of 16 three-team groups, with 32 qualifiers going through to the knockout stage.

Thirteen European teams qualified for the last World Cup in Brazil in 2014, which was won by Germany.

FIFA is expected to confirm the quotas for each continental governing body in May.
